Tybee Island, Georgia
Guarding the mouth of the Savannah River, the lighthouse dates back to 1736 and is Georgia’s oldest. Visible from much of the island, Andy walked a good portion of the beach to find a vantage that highlights the lighthouse’s weathered age and height. And it was cold that day.
