Poinsett Bridge

Greenville County, South Carolina

Poinsett Bridge is reported to be the oldest bridge in the southeast United States, built in 1820 along the road between Greenville and Ashville, South Carolina. The bridge contains a unique Goth-style arch over the river which winds through the trees and over a rocky bed.
