Jefferson Memorial Tidal Basin

The Jefferson Memorial overlooks the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. Andy’s exploration of his nation’s capitol included a full day of investigating and taking photos of key founding fathers for which he holds a unique affinity, particularly Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln. During a period where the water in the basin reached the sidewalk, Andy sat close to the edge and took this photo from a low view.
