Delicate Arch is the most recognizable arch in the southwest United States and an iconic representative of Arches National Park and the state of Utah. Perched above a tall, natural amphitheater, the arch itself stands just over 50' (16m) high. At sunset, the light strikes the face of the arch, lighting it against the cliffs in the background and a clouded sky.
