Fort Mountain, Georgia
Off the primary road into Fort Mountain State Park is an overlook of the north Georgia mountains which, covered in spring fog, seem to roil like a coming tsunami. In the same area lies a 800-foot stone wall built by a civilization long since disappeared and a 90-year-old fire tower erected with large stone during the 1930’s.
