Like many cities which exploded in population and significance with the westward expanse of the railroad, Kansas City has its own Union Station which once served passengers coming and going in a steady stream. Beautifully maintained and landscaped the station continues to be a cultural hub of exhibits, restaurants, and visitors to the outstanding architectural and spacious gathering areas.
