Facing away from Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls, Idaho, the Snake River winds through a canyon carved by its ever-moving water. Andy photographed this scene a few minutes after sunrise with the light hitting sharply on the close rocks while the distant canyon wall held onto the last shadows of night.
